  1. Warm up at medium, 30 seconds. A round or two to calibrate your hand to this arena and target size before you judge anything.
  2. Find your comfortable accuracy floor. Run medium targets a few times and note roughly where your accuracy settles once you've warmed up — that's your current baseline, not a score to be disappointed by.
  3. Push one variable at a time. Either drop to small targets at the same duration, or keep medium targets and try a shorter 15-second round for a faster pace. Changing both together makes it impossible to tell which change moved your numbers.
  4. Watch accuracy, not just hit count. If accuracy craters when you push speed or shrink the target, that's the signal to back off a step rather than a signal to try harder.
  5. Stop before your hand gets sloppy. A session where accuracy is visibly declining round over round is training the wrong thing — stop, rest, come back later.
