How to change your server name
- Open the server, click its name at the top-left, or open Server Settings from the dropdown.
- Go to Overview.
- Edit the Server Name field and paste your styled text in.
- Save changes. The new name updates everywhere immediately, including in every member's server list.

Which styles hold up best in a server name
A server name is read constantly, at a small size, in a narrow sidebar, often at a glance rather than deliberately — that context should drive which style you pick more than which one looks most striking in isolation.
- Bold and Monospace are the safest choices: both come from a Unicode block with no reserved holes, both are widely covered by device fonts, and both stay easy to read at small sizes because their letterforms are close to a normal typeface, just heavier or fixed-width.
- Gothic / Fraktur and Script look the most distinctive but are also the hardest to read quickly at small sizes — good for a short, memorable word, risky for anything long enough that legibility matters more than novelty.
- Small Caps is a good middle ground: it reads almost as easily as plain text but still looks deliberately styled, so it works well for a whole server name rather than just an accent.
- Bubble, Fullwidth and Upside Down are best used sparingly — as a single decorative character, an emoji-style separator, or a short prefix — rather than for the entire name, because they are visually heavier and read slower at a glance.
- Strikethrough rarely makes sense for a server name specifically; it reads as "this is crossed out", which is the wrong signal for something meant to represent the server permanently.
