Same 26 letters as any tile word game, but priced independently of the classic board-game system — twelve letters differ. Sorted highest value first, so the expensive letters are easy to spot at a glance.

Using blank tiles
Add a ? to your rack for every blank tile you are holding — for example ret?ns for a rack of R, E, T, N, S and one blank. The finder will try that blank in every position a word might need, always scoring it as 0 points, and will only reach for it once your real letters for that word have run out. That means it never wastes a blank on a letter you already had a real tile for.

Is this an official Words With Friends tool?
No. This is an independent word finder, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Zynga or Words With Friends. It is defaulted to that app's point values on this page purely because that is what visitors searching for this page are looking for.
How is this different from the main tile word finder?
Nothing about the underlying tool changes — it is the exact same finder. The only difference is that the scoring toggle opens set to the popular-mobile point values instead of the classic ones. You can still switch it back to classic scoring at any time with the toggle above the rack field.
Does this tool know my actual board or my opponent's tiles?
No. It only works from the rack you type in. It cannot see your board, bonus squares, or what your opponent is holding — use the contains/starts/ends filters to search for words that would connect to a letter you already know is on the board, then check the position yourself.
Will every word this tool finds be accepted in the app?
Most common words will be, but this tool checks against a large general-purpose English word list rather than the app's own proprietary dictionary, so an unusual result is worth a second look before you spend a turn on it. See the dictionary note on the main tool page for the full explanation.
What do I type for a blank tile?
A question mark, one per blank tile you are holding. A blank can fill in for any letter but always scores 0 points for that position — the finder only reaches for a blank once your real matching letters have run out.
