Both games are converted the same way as everything else on this site — through each game's yaw constant, not a rule of thumb:
0.07 and 0.022 are each game's yaw — degrees the camera turns per mouse count at sensitivity 1.0. CS2 kept CS:GO's Source-engine m_yaw default of 0.022; Valorant's 0.07 is the community-measured figure used consistently across independent sensitivity-converter tools. Because the ratio between two fixed constants never changes, 3.1818 is exact and applies at any sensitivity, not just the example below — see the main converter's About page for how both constants were sourced and cross-checked.
This does not convert eDPI. A Valorant eDPI of 320 and a CS2 eDPI of 320 feel very different, because eDPI ignores yaw. Always run the sensitivity number itself through the ratio above, or use the converter, not your eDPI.
Worked examples
Valorant 0.35 sens → CS2
0.35 × 3.1818 = 1.1136. At 800 DPI that's cm/360 ≈ 46.65 cm on both sides.
CS2 2.5 sens → Valorant
2.5 × 0.3143 = 0.7857. This is the same ratio behind the frequently repeated "CS2 2.0 ≈ Valorant 0.629" reference pair, scaled to a different starting sensitivity.

What is the exact Valorant to CS2 sensitivity formula?
CS2 sensitivity = Valorant sensitivity × (0.07 / 0.022) = Valorant sensitivity × 3.181818…. Going the other way, Valorant sensitivity = CS2 sensitivity × (0.022 / 0.07) = CS2 sensitivity × 0.314286…. Both use each game's yaw constant — Valorant's 0.07, CS2's 0.022 — and assume your mouse DPI stays the same in both games.
Why is the ratio always 3.18, no matter what my sensitivity is?
Because the ratio is fixed by the two games' yaw constants alone (0.07 / 0.022), not by your specific sensitivity value. Whatever number you type into Valorant, multiplying it by 3.1818 gives the CS2 sensitivity with the same physical cm/360 — the relationship is linear.
Does DPI change the 3.18 ratio?
No — the ratio between the two sensitivity numbers stays 3.1818 regardless of DPI, as long as your DPI is the same in both games. What DPI does change is your cm/360 (the physical distance for a full turn), which is a separate number from the sensitivity ratio itself.
Is this the same as matching eDPI between Valorant and CS2?
No, and this is the single most common mistake. eDPI (sensitivity × DPI) ignores yaw completely, so a Valorant eDPI of 320 and a CS2 eDPI of 320 do not feel remotely alike — CS2's yaw is smaller, so the same eDPI turns the camera far less per inch of mouse movement. Always convert through yaw, not through eDPI.
Does this cover CS:GO as well as CS2?
